Wedding Jewelry

Wedding is a special day for every woman, and a woman would leave no stone unturned in order to look stunning on her special day. Women spend days putting together their wedding ensemble, putting up everything from their dress to their footwear and from their lingerie to their jewelry in place. So if you’ve got everything else in place and are confused about what jewelry to wear, then here’s help for you. There are three types of jewelry that you can choose from:
• Gold jewelry
• Diamond and platinum jewelry
• Pearls.

Your choice of jewelry should be based on the kind of wedding dress you have chosen, your skin texture and complexion, your personal taste and the affordability aspect.

Gold jewelry

Well this is something that has been the norm, since ages. And if you’re planning to wear a wedding robe which is more on the traditional style then traditional gold jewelry or gem stones studded in gold will complement your dress. For an extra traditional look, go in for the oxidized gold jewelry. Gold jewelry is a bit expensive, but you can always opt in for lighter designs to stay within your budget. Heavy gold jewelry with intricate designs looks awesome on heavily embroidered wedding dresses, and lighter modern designs go with slim fit modern cut bridal gowns.

Diamond and platinum jewelry

Diamonds set in platinum are the best thing you can pick up to dazzle everyone on this special occasion, but it’s quite expensive and doesn’t fit well into everyone’s pocket. Most of the diamond and platinum jewelry designs are on the sleeker side and won’t go too well with heavy traditional style wedding dresses. Diamond jewelry looks best when worn with pure white wedding dresses or dresses which have a hint of gray. But if your dress has pink or yellow tones, then gold jewelry is a better choice.

Pearl jewelry

These days pearl jewelry comes in a wide range of colors and it wont be difficult to find a pearl shade that blends well with your wedding gown color. Pearls are relatively cheap, and yet they look elegant. Pearl jewelry can go equally well with nearly every type of wedding dress, be it modern or traditional.

Using Creams and Supplements for oily skin.

Although it is no daunting task to keep your oily skin in good health, but it still does call for a bit of attention and effort. Oily skin brings along with it several skin related problems such as acne and pimples. So, it becomes vital that you carry out some form of oily skin care treatment to ensure that no further skin problems arise. If you have ample time and are willing to take the initiative, then you can go in for natural skin care.

However, with the hectic life of today and the type of time crunch that most women face, picking up oily skin care products from the cosmetic shop seems more comforting. Here are some things that you need to observe when you go cosmetic shopping for your oily skin.

The first thing, look for the ingredients mentioned on the packing of the product and ensure that it does not contain any alcohol or other such harsh chemicals. Since using harsh chemicals and alcohol can result in drying up your skin excessively and depriving your skin of the natural moisture that it requires to stay healthy. While the skin calls for regular and thorough cleaning for which you should use only mild cleansers or still better make use of a pure soap which contains no artificial stuff. To keep problems like acne and pimples at bay, skin cleansing with antibacterial cleansing lotions can be used as an effective technique.

Astringents are another class of cosmetics that you need to look at, seeing as they contain acetone which helps in dissolving the excessive oil on the skin and preventing your skin from a greasy shine.

One area that requires additional care is the selection of moisturizer for your skin, given that oily moisturizers can simply elevate your skin problems. There are a lot of oil-free moisturizers that you can make use of, especially those which have been supplemented with vitamin A and vitamin B complex.

If you keep in mind all these little things while you go shopping for skin care products for your oily skin, keeping your oily skin in perfect health will become awfully undemanding.

Treat Your Oily Skin With These Homemade Face Packs

oily-skinWhen you’re tired of experimenting with highly advertisedcosmetic products, to treat your oily skin condition, you might want to try out some homemade recipes.

If so, here are some wonderful homemade face packs, that are easy to make and still very effective in treating oily skin.

The papaya face pack for oily skin

Mash some papaya and rub it gently on your face skin. Papaya is rich in antioxidants and is known to have wonderful exfoliating properties, which will help your skin to get rid of excess oil, dirt and impurities. If you use this at least three to four times a week, you will be easily able to enjoy an oil freeglowing skin which is less susceptible to oily skin problems like pimples, blackheads and acne.

The garlic and lemon wonder face pack

I’ve used the word wonder in its name, because it gives you truly miraculous results. It can also serve as a quick fix, to get rid of stubborn pimples. Just make some garlic paste and squeeze one lemon into it, and it’s ready to be applied onto the face. Garlic has antimicrobial properties, and lemon helps in cutting down the oil levels. It does sting a little, but the overall outcome is definitely worth the discomfort.

Strawberry and brandy face pack

You’ll need some strawberries, a tablespoon of brandy, a little bit of bread crumbs, a teaspoon of rose water and 1tbsp. of fuller’s earth. Blend in everything except for the bread crumbs in a blender. Mix in the bread crumbs, and apply this face pack for about half an hour, and you’ll be happy to see your skin smooth and radiant. Although, this recipe does call for a lot of things and a bit of an effort, the way it reduces the excess oil from your skin, while adding a soft glow to it, is quite pleasing.

Orange Peels

This is the simplest one, and all you need is to grind some orange peels into a fine paste and apply it all over your face. It is quick and fairly effective in treating oily skin...link
